Boston, MA Role
Management of Epic changes is streamlined and in alignment with the facilities change control policies
Administering Data Courier and maintaining all shared master files that the Epic Core Systems team is responsible
Leading all the Data Courier management and development efforts, including appropriately configuring Data Courier based on Epic development and maintenance needs, developing and maintaining the DC policies and processes, and implementing DC best practices
Lead and perform day to day troubleshooting, analysis and resolution related to Epic data courier issues. Coordinate all Epic migrations issues and work with other application teams as needed.
Train all Data Courier users of all Epic teams on the Data Courier policies and processes by designing curricula, leading/facilitating training sessions, and optimizing the training cycle based on Epic's requirements and user experience.
This position requires strong collaboration with other ITS groups and various business units
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, healthcare administration, healthcare informatics, or a related field
4 - 5 years of analysis experience in mission-critical healthcare application systems
Data Courier administration with Epic implementation, environment refresh, and upgrade experience
Epic Data Courier Certification
Experience with formal project management
Knowledge of database structures
Experience with full life cycle of Epic implementation and/or Epic upgrade
Experience with Data Courier administration and Epic environment management with a large complex healthcare organization or academic medical center
Familiarity with Epic Applications
SQL and Chronicles reporting experience
Familiar with networked environment (prefer NT/UNIX)
Experience with UNIX
